The goals of CalESTA are:

Preserve and promote earth science education in California 

Disseminate information to earth science K-12 teachers

Provide field trips and professional development opportunities for K-12 earth science teachers

To partner with companies and corporations that rely on geoscience college graduates to populate their workforce
